From Hypothesis to Clinical Proof.
In 2023, we partnered with St James Medical School to conduct a rigorous clinical study on the Caribbean island of Anguilla. We wanted to know if automated contextual notifications—mapping glucose spikes to real-time behavioral logs—could tangibly improve patient outcomes.
Reduction in HbA1c
During a 3-month trial, patients using Aegle's context-layering app saw an average drop of 13% in A1C levels compared to the control group.
The results validated our core philosophy: when patients see the "Why" behind their numbers in real-time, behavior change becomes sustainable.
